"Twisted By Design", is Strung Out's third album with Fat Wreck Chords. The album was released on May 5, 1998. The album was the last with former bassist Jim Cherry, who later died of a heart problem. It was re-mixed, re-mastered and re-released on April 15, 2014 as part of the first volume of Strung Out's 20th anniversary box set. The album received positive reviews by critics and fans alike.
