In 1998, four hillbillies that got to know each other through inline skating decided to get together and start playing the music they loved most. They formed a punkrock band that was later known as Laternpoll. They played a lot of shows throughout the Netherlands and recorded one split record in 2002 with their buddies from the Almighty Kingpin.
