[NEWS] Two new Bigwig (demo)songs!

Bigwig is a hardcore punk band from New Jersey, formed in 1995. After more than 5 years without any release, without any news, it seems they are recording new stuff according to Tom Petta's (singer of Bigwig) Facebook.

And finally.... Here are two new Bigwig demos. The first demo song is a bit slow, but the second one is very very good. Enjoy!

"Felt a small earthquake here in south Jerz while mixing new BW!!! A sign?? I did't know if I should bail ship or catch the monitors........ Caught the monitors! I hope everyone is safe. Nothin' like a little reminder of what this planet is capable of."

[NEWS] 'New' Bigwig song

The band explains:
"Old BW song up! some people asked me to post this, it was recorded during the "invitation" sessions the song was mis-titled as "6 over 8" by the label that released it on a compilation sampler. we were hoping to release it later but....oh well. enjoy!"

Bigwig is a melodic hardcore punk band from New Jersey, formed in 1995. They were originally composed of Josh Farrell (guitar), John Castaldo (bass), Tom Petta (guitar/vocals), and Dan Rominski (drums). It is said they got their name from a character in the book "Watership Down", a large, tough rabbit. Since their inception, they have been steadily gaining popularity, having played / toured with such bands as Pennywise, Less Than Jake, Blink-182, The Ataris, The Vandals, New Found Glory, No Use for a Name, NOFX, The Suicide Machines, Agnostic Front, Lagwagon, and Reel Big Fish. Following the release of their 2001 album Invitation To Tragedy, injuries and lineup changes caused the band to take a five-year hiatus. Their latest album, Reclamation, was released on February 7, 2006 by Fearless Records.
