Along with the Belvedere 2XLP that we're releasing just in time for Groezrock and the band's upcoming reunion shows in Europe, Canada, and Brazil this year, we're teaming up with Animal Style Records and Effervescence Records in Europe to bring you, for the first time ever on vinyl, Belvedere's 2004 release 'Fast Forward Eats the Tape.' First pressing of 500 will be on white w/black splatter (250) and clear (250). we'll be launching a pre-order for this very soon as well, so stay tuned!

We're really excited to announce that just in time for the band's upcoming reunion shows and appearance at this year's Groezrock festival Jump Start will be releasing a double LP from Belvedere! This double LP will feature 2000's 'Angels Live in My Town' and 2003's 'Twas Hell Said Former Child', both available for the first time EVER on vinyl! The first pressing of 1000 will be on white and opaque red vinyl and comes in a gatefold sleeve. Our good buddy JP Flexner has created some awesome new artwork for the 'Self-Titled' release that you can see in this post. We're super excited to share this with you today and are really excited to be working with one of our favorite Jump Start bands again!

That's right. The boys are back. After 7 years apart Belvedere will be getting together for some exclusive shows in 2012. Expect select shows in Canada, South America and Europe. Details below. Tickets for Canadian shows go on sale December 1st.

Belvedere was a Canadian Punk Rock band formed in 1995. Originally not meant to play a show, they gained a cult following in Canada's punk scene. Known for their blazing fast speed and melodic vocals, the band have also appeared on the Warped Tour and Groezrock Festival bills. Taking their name from the '80s sitcom, Belvedere began in Calgary, Alberta, in 1995 as the three-piece of Steve Rawles (guitar/vocals), Brock (bass), and Dan Hrynuik (drums). As the years progressed along with their revolving lineup, Belvedere remained with their melodic punk sound that looked up to the likes of Bad Religion and NOFX. Eventually recruiting second guitarist Scott Marshall, replacement drummer Jay Hollywood, and a replacement bassist Jaison Synclair, the quartet released their debut album, Because No One Stopped Us, in 1998 through Hourglass and 206 Records.
