Click here to read the interview.Q: Your new album Whatever has received great reviews pretty much across the board so far. It may be early, but were you expecting the feedback you’re getting?A: It seems to me like, while most of the reviews from magazines and blogs have been pretty positive, there has been a large group of our fans that have been disappointed in the new record. That kind of mixed reaction is what I expected from this record’s release. There are people who listen to our new music and say, “this isn’t fast enough” or “this isn’t pop punk enough.” I think every record is special. Every record is different. We don’t want to be the band that releases the same record five times. We want to continue to grow and change.
