Scott Raynor plays blink-182's "Carousel" in 2017

Two days ago, an the Instagram user sam182 made a post with a video of the original blink-182 drummer Scott Raynor, which is currently drumming for "The Wraith", playing the classic song "Carousel" for what may be the first time in over 19 years. Not with his new band, but with some other guys from a band called "No Advisory".

The video quality is very low and we can't be 100% sure if it's Scott or not. According to the YouTube description:

I've been told this was only a jam session so don't be looking for more of this in the future. I've been informed the other 2 musicians are from a band called "No Advisory" (correct me if I'm wrong please.) So sit back and enjoy seeing Scott play blink one more time.

Greg Graffin talks about Bad Religion’s new album, Brooks Wackerman leaving for Avenged Sevenfold

On a recent interview with Loudwire, the US classic punk rockers Bad Religion frontman Greg Graffin has talked about their upcoming album and the departure of their drummer, Brooks Wackerman who is joining Avenged Sevenfold.

"There’s no end in sight", Graffin proclaimed. "In fact, in two-and-a-half years, there’s a very important 40th anniversary milestone. Another album is on the horizon, but True North was such a good album that I don’t want to put out something that indicates we’re aging, so it’s gotta be as good as True North. [Laughs] We do plan on getting another record out there, hopefully before that 40th anniversary."
As for Brooks Wackerman’s move to Avenged Sevenfold, Graffin revealed he wasn’t aware of the drummer’s new gig until it was announced publicly. "It wasn’t until he announced it [that I knew he was joining Avenged Sevenfold] but he did tell us he was leaving for greener pastures, but he didn’t put it that way. He gave us ample notice", Graffin explains. "It was not at all bitter, it was wishing him the best of luck".

Future Idiots covers blink-182's "Cynical"

Swedish punk rockers Future Idiots have covered blink-182's "Cynical". Mike Andersson, bassist/vocalist of the band states:

"The reason I wanted to do a cover of Cynical was because it's such a great song that is just way too short, and I wanted to try and make it longer. I also thought that the riff to Brohemian Rhapsody was too good to be wasted on a 30 sec joke song, so I came up with the idea of adding it to Cynical and then creating a first verse out of the intro lyrics, and voila, we had a 3 minute version!

The new blink album worked really well for me, I know some weren't too pleased with it but I thought Skiba brought a lot of new energy to blink and I think he fits really well in the band. California is a great summer album in my opinion and I can't wait to listen to the new songs on the deluxe edition. I will say that the album is overproduced and I really hope they scale it down for the next album
