Raising Compromise was founded in Palermo, Italy in September 2003. After many split up, the band found a stable line up in Giammimmo (drums), Skinny (Bass) and Davide (voice/guitar). To create a powerful and more melodic sound, they decided to look for a second guitar and vocalist, so on April 2006 Gianluca Schepis (Skè) becomes a Raising Compromise member. He influences considerably the new songs bringing a more melodic sound, not just hardcore.

[NEWS] Pennywise announce new album and European Tour

So Cal skate-punk veterans Pennywise, have announced a European tour this summer and that the new album will be released this fall. It will be their first studio album featuring their new singer, Zoli Teglas of Ignite. The band will also make a return to their home label Epitaph, after releasing their last album, Reason to Believe, on myspace Records. If you still haven't heard what the ex-Pennywise lead vocalist Jim Lindberg is doing now, you can right here!

Set Your Goals is an American Pop-Punk band from the San Francisco Bay Area, formed in 2004. Their musical style typically employs a combination of pop punk and melodic hardcore. Their band name is derived from the CIV album of the same name.

I really don't know if this album fits on skatepunkers but here's for any old Set Your Goals fan. It's a webrip. But it's a webrip from Soundcloud, which means great quality even at 128.

5 Star Degenerate, a band formed in Ocean Beach California played for about 4 yrs strong, tried to get signed by fearless records but was turned down,played every venue in San Diego and various popular clubs in Hollywood.They also played with numerous popular bands such as Strung out, The Line,Dr.Know,D I, and played at the warped tour in San Diego twice.The four songs off the demo are the only ones that got recorded but they had about 15 original songs all together. They are greatly missed and were the most underated band in so-cal at the time.

Jet Market was born in Rome in 1998. It's high school years and the four friends enjoy playing together Green Day and NOFX songs in school's rehearsal room.
In 1999 the first demo recordings of the band begins, along with the very first line up changes. The following year sees the making of a ska-punk demo and the beginning of the band's live activity in their hometown.
In 2001 things change, the band's sound turns into something different, identifiable in mid 90's californian or swedish melodic hardcore (skatepunk).
